About Me

My photo
Daniel Patrick Murphy
As I think this blog clearly demonstrates, photography is an integral part of my life. It follows me almost wherever I go and affords me with the opportunity to capture fragments of time, space, and emotion that constitute the moments I would prefer not to lose. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a BA in Philosophy and a concentration in Ethics and Civic Life. My minor was Spanish Studies. That does not mean that photography has taken a back seat to my studies in recent years. Rather, it has allowed me to express myself and create lasting moments for my friends and family, and given me work as an occasional freelance photographer. I'd love to continue this line of work in the future, so if you like my photographs or just my eye, leave a comment, shoot me an e mail, or just come back sometime and see where life has taken me. I'd be happy to discuss how you can become a part of my life's work as well. Images are © Daniel Murphy 2012
